Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (MMC), recognizing the importance of personal information, will take the following measures to protect personal information that MMC handles:
1.
MMC observes all laws and regulations in Japan applied
to personal information. MMC has established internal rules
for the handling of personal information, and will continuously
make its employees (including directors, officers, full-time
and part-time employees, temporary workers, etc.) and others
know, practice, maintain and improve such internal rules.
2.
When MMC collects, obtains or acquires your personal information,
MMC will make public or individually inform you its purposes
of use of the information.MMC will collect, obtain or acquire
your personal information to the extent necessary for the
said purposes.
3.
MMC will appoint a person in charge of information management
at each section that handles your personal information, and
will keep it accurate and latest.MMC will take measures to
prevent improper access to, loss, destruction, improper alteration
and leakage of your personal information.
4.
MMC will use and handle your personal information under
proper procedures only for the scope of the purposes made
public or informed you at the time of collection or acquisition.Furthermore,
MMC will not disclose or offer your personal information
to third party without your approval, except for the following
cases:
1) when MMC has your express consent;
2) when MMC outsources to third party a part of its operations that handles personal
information;
3) when MMC presents necessary information to financial institutions for payment
procedures; and
4)when there are certain grounds required by laws.

In case MMC shares your personal information with any third
party, or in case MMC entrusts your personal information
to any third party in order to outsource a part of its operations,
MMC will check up on such third party, sign necessary contracts
with such third party, and take other necessary measures
required by laws and regulations in Japan.
6.
MMC recognizes that you have rights to disclose, correct,
suspend and delete your own personal information under the
Personal Information Protection Law of Japan, and will promptly
respond to your request for the said rights, unless MMC is
under certain circumstances provided in laws.
7.
MMC will keep personal information entrusted from other
entities under strict control, and will use such entrusted
personal information only for the commissioned work stipulated
in the contracts with such other entities.
